Swiss worship band and Integrity Music artists, ICF Worship, release new single for 2017 “All About You” featuring Esther McLaren
ICF Worship has its roots in the ICF Zurich church, founded in 1996 in the largest city in Switzerland. Having started with a passion to reach out across the country to people in a contemporary and modern way, today ICF Zurich is a non-denominational church with over 3,000 weekend attendees spread across seven different locations within the city and its surroundings. It is also one of the biggest church movements in the German speaking area, with over 50 churches in Switzerland and throughout Europe.
Yet ICF Worship is not simply a band or a bunch of musicians writing worship songs and performing. It is strongly connected with and focused on the local churches of the ICF Movement and beyond. And, as the movement has grown so has the music of ICF Worship. For more than 10 years ICF has released albums, with each project teaching them more about themselves, songwriting and the sound that defines their church.
Throughout the whole process ICF Worship aims to write songs that don’t just connect with churchgoers but that also speak to someone who is new to the gospel or the church. While early songs were written by one or two members of the band, Iately that has changed, as more and more of the team have pitched in their songwriting talents.
ICF Worship’s album “Catching Fire”, released in late May 2014 debuted at number 3 in the Swiss iTunes chart. Songs like “Face To Face”, “Follow You”, “Heartbeat” and “Collide” are already standing out as great new songs from this movement.
Other key songs include “Take a Stand” (which entered at number 12 on the official Swiss charts), “Legacy” (which features on Integrity iWorship Now/Next 2014) and Rise Up (featuring Jorge Mhondera).
Their latest album “Valleys & Wonders” was released in May 2016. Two of the key songs “King (Friend of Mine)” and “Treasure” are featured on the Integrity “Ultimate Worship 2017” album.
“All About You” is available now on iTunes.
