MOBO nominated artist, Sarah Téibo, made UK Gospel history this week with her new album, ‘Keep Walking’, which entered the UK Official Christian & Gospel Album Chart at No.3.
Nestled in between Christian music giants Hillsong & Rend Collective Sarah’s new album landed the No.3 spot just a week after its release. On a chart dominated by CCM music, record label releases and global Christian bands Sarah now joins a small “elite” group of independent UK artists that have ever featured on the Official Chart and furthermore, she is the first black female UK Gospel artist to do it.
On receiving news of her achievement Sarah said,
‘Keep Walking’ is Sarah’s second album. It was released at her sold out album release concert & live recording in London on 29th June after a successful Pledge Music campaign. The album features appearances from Fred Hammond, Muyiwa, Lisa McClendon, afro-gospel artist Andrew Bellow, and UK rapper TNeek.
