‘Anaconda’ rapper Nicki Minaj rates Gospel singer Tasha Cobb Leonard’s music so much that she has openly asked if she can feature on her next album ‘Heart Passion Pursuit’ on Instagram.

Apparently Minaj, aged 34, has been a fan of the ‘Break Every Chain’ singer since watching her perform with Jonathan McReynolds on the ‘Celebration of Gospel” BET TV show in 2014.

Now, she wants to make music with her.

“@tashacobbsleonard when you finish recording the album, come to my studio so I can put a 16 on one of these songs miss thang,” Minaj wrote in an Instagram message Sunday. “Can’t wait for this to drop!

Minaj posted this on her Instagram page which has 80 million followers. But Cobbs isn’t feeling the pressure as she didn’t respond to the post. However, whether they continued the conversation off social media we don’t know.

So why does Minaj want a Cobbs collab? Well, she also said this in a separate post on social media:

“I love that she ministers while singing similar to #JuanitaBynum #donnieMcclurkin. Discovered her on BET 2 years ago and have been obsessed ever since,” she revealed. “#FunFact: I listen to old dancehall and gospel more than all other genres on my personal time. Lol. Go figure.”
Let’s see what happens. Don’t be too surprised if you see a track called ‘Holy Bass’ on Tasha’s new album.
