London based singer-songwriter Lucy Grimble and electronic gospel duo, Eikon, will release their first collaboration – radio single ‘Lost in Wonder’ on Friday 8th June worldwide.
This latest song is an upbeat track that speaks of the joy of living a life ‘lost in the wonder’ of God’s love. The single features vocals from Lucy layered on top of a synth driven, electro-pop track that invites the listener into a joyful reflection that being lost in the love of God is where we are truly found.
Eikon is the production duo of Dave Hendra and Dave Pilcher. The Daves met in London and joined musical forces during their time studying theology together in 2012, fusing their passion for electronic music and worshipping God. Eikon’s sound is a mash-up of modern electronica, house music and chilled-out ambient. The result is passionate and reflective worship, blended with dance-floor-filling moments. They have worked on several collaborations, and their songs have been featured on TV shows in the UK and America.
Lucy Grimble has been writing songs for the church and leading worship for many years, both as a solo artist and with her talented band of musicians. This latest track follows on from a number of original songs and projects that she has released; ‘Great Redeemer’ released in April 2018 and ‘Created to Worship’ released in April 2017. Lucy’s desire is to create space for anyone to encounter the love of God through worship. She has led worship across the UK including Prom Praise, David’s Tent, Big Church Day Out and Open Skies. Lucy’s own worship flows from a place of personal intimacy and consecration to God, out of which she writes songs that carry a message of freedom, hope and identity.
