For 28 years central London has seen thousands of people gathering to celebrate and share the life and love or Jesus. This year on the 11th July, one of London’s most iconic land marks, Trafalgar Square will play host to the London Jesus Day event.
London Jesus Day kicks off at 12pm with prayer in various locations across the centre of London with five teams being assigned to five locations. The teams will pray for the people of that area and give gospel message demos. Tickets for the main part of the event which starts at 2pm at Trafalgar square will also be given out at this time. Organisers of the event are encouraging as many people as possible to join the teams.
Aidan Ashby from Jesus London Day Promotion said; “We want to make the Church of Jesus relevant to any onlookers and encourage them to come to the Trafalgar Square event afterwards. Just think how many hundreds, or maybe even thousands of people we’ll reach even before the start of the main event. We’re looking forward to it.”
Organisers say that Trafalgar Square will be ‘transformed’! With 3 hours of non-stop gospel acts including Hip duo Adam and Kid, and Dwayne Tryumf; Worship and Messages. The aim is to “lift up the Jesus putting him front and centre in all we do”.
