Faith fashion label, Jesus Junkie, celebrates 10 year anniversary and launch of online store with new #ComeAsYouAre Campaign.
The purpose of the #ComeAsYouAre campaign is to challenge the idea that you have to first “clean yourself up” or “act a certain way” before becoming a Christian.
To kick off the campaign the Jesus Junkie team put together a short documentary showing a day in the lives of four different individuals, from four different walks of life, but who all have one thing in common, their love for Jesus Christ.
Along with the campaign also comes a new range of tees and sweats from the label now available to order online.
Weruche Opia, actress and Jesus Junkie founder said:
The #ComeAsYouAre campaign came about as I felt I wanted to do more than just sell T-shirts. JESUS JUNKIE™ is more than just a fashion statement but a testimony, a story, my story and I feel this campaign is a great way to share and hear other people’s stories as well.To kick off the campaign, I decided to put my film background to use and shot a short documentary, showing a brief look into the lives of four different people, with four different stories, who all share one common thing- a love for God. The campaign will carry on profiling more people, sharing their stories and testimonies of how they came to Christ; all with the hope of encouraging people to come to Christ, just as as they are.
The new range is an updated version of our original collection. The aim was to put a slight twist on the original design and logo, making our designs a bit more fashionable without compromising the message; ensuring it is still very much intact and uninterrupted.
