We recently heard ‘The Pearl’ and instantly fell in love with it. The soothing melody and clever opening line instantly convey beauty and romance. The love song speaks about this young man’s appreciation for the lady in his life beyond her physical beauty. We asked Mr. DaMention about the motivation behind the song, he said, “this song is a celebration of depth. Essentially I am saying that her outward appearance is not the sum of her but her substance is. The song is also an ode to the woman in my life. The message is: inner beauty is true beauty.” A great message that more young men and women in our society could afford to hear and learn we think.
