Upcoming UK artist, Possible P, has been making waves in the music industry and proven himself as one to watch following the recent release of his single ‘Regardless’, the first off his upcoming album ‘Process in Transition’.
Born in London, but raised in Nigeria this self-taught multi-instrumentalist singer/rapper started recording music at the age of 16 and has been active in the underground music scene ever since – mainly within the Midlands performing at events and building his reputation amongst other music artists.
Being heavily influenced by African music, R’n’B, Hip Hop, Electro, and Pop Possible P describes his sound as “Me being me and doing what comes to me, I don’t really have a defined genre.”
However you would define his music, his first single ‘Regardless’ has been received with a lot of buzz and excitement so far. The track has reached the No.1 spot in June’s Step FWD Singles Chart by way of public vote, and since it’s release on Soundcloud a few weeks ago it has had over 2,000 plays.
When asked about the inspiration behind ‘Regardless’ he added, “my producer and I just did what came to us instinctively. From a plain point of view it comes across as a track which is referring to us where as when I wrote it, it was from myself to God.”
‘Regardless’ is Possible P’s first single released off the album ‘Process in Transition’ which is due for release later this year. In the meantime the next single of the album is due for release early July.
