Dawn Thomas Wallace, former lead singer of 80’s iconic gospel group ‘Trumpets of Zion’, returns with her first studio album in sixteen years.

This Spring will see the release of a new album from the UK Gospel veteran, Dawn Thomas Wallace, following her new three album deal with Zoe Records. The traditional gospel artist has paired up with legendary producer and Director of Music at Ruach City Ministries, Nicky Brown, to work on the album.

Isaac Odeniran, Head of Zoe Records (UK’s premier Black Gospel music label) said about the new album deal,

I am really delighted to have one of the leading traditional gospel artists to ever come out from the United Kingdom on our roster of artists and I believe Dawn Thomas Wallace will do great things for the Kingdom of God and for Gospel Music.

No stranger to UK gospel scene, Dawn started singing as a teenager almost three decades ago, during what is considered the “golden age of gospel” in the 80’s and 90’s, as a member of popular gospel group ‘Trumpets of Zion’. In recent years Dawn has been focusing on her solo career which has taken her around the world and last year she was one of the gospel artists on the BBC Gospel Proms.
