Text: 11 Corinthians 1:3
Memory verse: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.
Thank God for His mercies without which we would be lost. The scripture is kind to remind us today that our God is the Father of mercies. And linking this up with a bible passage in Romans 8 vs 1a: “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus……”
We have confidence that the mercies of God can reach out to us wherever we have gotten to. Do not allow satan or your heart to condemn you. For God is greater than both of them. [Tweet “We are assured that there is no mountain too high, no valley too low, no water too deep and no fire too hot that our God cannot deliver us from. “]He wants you to call on him today, reach out to him in sincerity and he promised to be there to deliver you. His love for you is too great to leave you where you are right now. He is a Father who pities his children.
“As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him.” (Psalms 103:13 )NKJV. Mercy is the potion of thechildren of God. Listen, the fact that our Father is the Father of mercies suggests that He knows that sometimes we do and will miss the mark a little. Today, I do pray that you see Him as you father who is full if mercies. Call on Him and be sure he will answer you.
