Text: 11 Corinthians 1:3
Memory verse: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, (II Corinthians 1:3 NKJV)
Child of God, through more than we can ever imagine. The scripture says it like this “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15 KJV). Jesus feels our pain, shame, hurts, disappointments, disgrace and disregards. You name them; He is always there to comfort us through the Holy Spirit. He has promised us, “beloved, that He will never leave us nor forsake us…for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee”. (Hebrews 13:5 KJV) He is truly the Father of comfort.[Tweet “We have a Father who is concerned about the things we are going through. @Pastorchi #Devotional #Bible”]
What are you going through right now? What is taking your peace? What are those issues that cause you sleepless nights? Report them now and receive comfort from our Father. Do not depend solely on the comfort of men; seek the comfort of the Father who knows how deep you hurt or pain is, and how to comfort you. He is everything you will ever need. No matter how bad the situation might be, fall into His able hands and He will comfort you.
