Faith Child performs at London Mayor One of the UK’s leading Christian Hip Hop artists, Faith Child performed his track ‘My Father’ and his version of ‘O Holy Night’ at the London Mayor’s Christmas Carol Service at Southwark Cathedral on Monday 19th December.

The capital’s borough mayors were present as well as the new mayor of London, Sadiq Khan who attended for the first time. The Mayor’s Christmas Carol Service is an annual event that attracts attendance from both VIP’s and members of the public.

When we asked him about what it was like to perform rap songs at a Carol Service in a Cathedral in front of the Lord Mayor and other VIP’s, Faith Child told us this;

“It was a true honour to invited to performing for the Mayor London. I was quite nervous not knowing how they’ll receive Rap at a Christmas Carol service, as well as my take on ‘O Holy Night.’

I’m pleased to know that people are open to trying something new and are not afraid to embrace modern styles in traditional settings”

Faith Child with the Slovenian President This year, it appears that Faith Child has been rolling with the big guns as he was spotted rubbing shoulders with the Slovenian president no less back in September!
