Raising Funds for Christian Charities and Churches

This annual one-day conference is attended by church and charity leaders and fundraisers. It provides an opportunity to hear and question key Christian funders, inspirational church and charity leaders and experts in fundraising for Christian causes. We have a morning plenary session followed by separate streams for churches and Christian charities. Highlights include:

Christian funders and philanthropists including Charlie Laing (Laing Family Trusts), entrepreneur Ram Gidoomal CBE, the Joseph Rank Trust, Allchurches Trust, Henry Smith Charity, Cinnamon Network, Childs Charitable Trust, Andrews Charitable Trust and Smith Bradbeer Trust.

Krish Kandiah, charity founder, author on discipleship and international speaker, on how to communicate vision and inspire people to give more.

Case studies in Christian fundraising from organisations large and small including Tearfund, Coventry Cathedral, Embrace the Middle East and Downton Baptist Church.

Advice from specialists in funding Christian projects including Kevin Bennett on raising more online, Andy Heald on direct mail, Paul Bickley on funding for Christian social entrepreneurship, Redina Kolaneci on managing donor journeys and David Saint on funding capital projects.

The Government Minister for Civil Society, Tracey Crouch MP, on opportunities to partner statutory agencies and funders.

Getting ready for GDPR – practical advice from Bates Wells Braithwaite (to charities) and the Church of England National Stewardship Officer on preparing for the General Data Protection Regulation.
