Chance the Rapper Youngest to Receive ‘BET Humanitarian Award’

Hip-Hop Artist Chance the Rapper is awarded the BET Humanitarian Award 2017.

This year’s BET shocked the public with the winner of the BET Humanitarian Award, which was awarded to hip-hop artist Chance the Rapper.

Considering all the legendary people who have achieved this award in the past such as: Steve Harvey, Alicia Keys, Quincy Jones, El Sharpton, Dwayne Wade and others, Chance the Rapper is the youngest to receive this award at age 24.

Presented by Michelle Obama in a video message, BET awarded Chance with this special award for his endless community efforts, which includes him raising $2m (£1.6m) for Chicago’s public school system.

Just after the event, Chance tweeted:

In his acceptance speech, Chance mentions,

‘It feels so early to have received this award. But my god does not make mistakes.’

After achieving this honourable award, Chance tweeted:
